The Moore Family farm was established in 1905. The land has been passed down for generations to preserve agricultural heritage, maintain land integrity, and build a legacy.
The Moores have always raised beef cattle. We've had several breeds over the years. Our current herd is made up of Black and Red Angus, and Charolais. Our cattle are humanely pastured and grass-fed during spring and summer when the grass is green and nutritious. In late fall and winter months we provide high quality hay cut from our own fields.
When a Texas native married into the family we decided to bring a piece of Texas heritage to our farm. We've worked with other Registered Texas Longhorn breeders to ensure an initial herd with elite genetics that will carry on to produce an impressive balance of conformation, horn, and flashy color. We're aiming for Futurity stunners and showstoppers.
